Is Warmy worth it for cold email?

The short answer

Usually not for a small team whose sending tool already includes warmup. Warmy starts at $49 a month, volume-based, and adds a seed network, blacklist alerts and DMARC monitoring. Pay for it if you want those as a separate layer, not just warmup. Prices below are as of October 2026, from each vendor's pricing page.

How we research this: facts come from each vendor’s public pages and named studies, dated where shown; the math is ours and labeled. Vendor prices and limits are as of October 4, 2026.

What does Warmy cost?

Warmy's pricing page lists plans starting from $49 a month, priced by warm-up volume, with tabs for B2B senders, B2C senders and a custom plan. It publishes no per-mailbox price, so you can't compute your bill from the page alone. You can try it for 7 days without entering a card.

Our math on the floor: $49 × 12 = $588 a year before any volume increase. That's the minimum, not a quote for four inboxes.

What does every plan include?

Per Warmy's pricing page, every plan includes:

  • A mailbox network of more than 1 million and a US seed list of more than 500,000 (vendor claims)
  • List checking (verification) and DMARC monitoring with no add-on fee
  • Google Postmaster data and a reputation tracker with blacklist alerts
  • A test tool that shows where a sample email lands, with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blacklist results
  • An AI template optimizer, an API, and a dedicated expert with 24/7 support

We haven't tested whether its warmup network improves placement, so treat the network size and its effect as Warmy's claims. For how to check a domain for listings without paying, see how to check if your domain is blacklisted.

How does it compare with warmup you may already have?

Saleshandy Unlimited warmup on every plan, from $41 a month Per its pricing page
Smartlead Warmup pools by plan, from $39 a month Foundation on Base, Growth on Pro

For the full list, see best email warmup tools. Our math for the house plan, 4 inboxes per rep: a sequencer with unlimited warmup covers 4 inboxes at $0 extra. Warmy's floor adds at least $588 a year on top. For three reps and 12 inboxes, the gap only grows if Warmy's price rises with volume.

What does warmup not fix?

Your list and your volume. Warmup builds a sending history; it doesn't make a bad list good. In our view, verified lists bounce less than bought ones, and Google's guidance is to keep spam rates below 0.10%. Verify first (best email verification tool), then ramp volume (cold emails per day per inbox). To check placement, see the inbox placement test.

Who should pay for Warmy?

Buy it when at least one of these is true:

  1. Your sequencer's warmup is limited or capped, and you run many inboxes.
  2. You want blacklist alerts and DMARC monitoring in the same place.
  3. You want a human to look at your setup when placement drops.

When should you skip Warmy?

  • Skip it if your sending tool includes unlimited warmup and you only want to warm mailboxes. You'd pay twice.
  • Skip it if you send a few hundred emails a month. The $49 floor is a large share of your stack.
  • Skip it if you need a price per mailbox before you buy. The page doesn't list one.
  • Skip it to fix list problems. Warmup won't repair bounces from a bad list.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Warmy cost?

Plans start from $49 a month, volume-based. The page doesn't list per-mailbox pricing.

Does Warmy have a free trial?

Yes. You get 7 days to try it, and Warmy doesn't ask for a card.

Is email warmup necessary?

New mailboxes have no sending history, so the usual advice is to ramp volume slowly. Google's sender guidelines advise starting with low volume and increasing slowly. Many sequencers include warmup, so a separate tool isn't required.

What's the cheaper way to get warmup?

Use a sending tool with unlimited warmup, such as Instantly or Saleshandy. See Instantly vs Smartlead vs lemlist.

Can Warmy replace an inbox placement test?

Partly. Its built-in tester reports where a test email lands and runs authentication and blacklist checks. For free and paid placement tests side by side, see the inbox placement test.
