What are the best AI SDR tools?
To test an AI SDR without a long contract, start with AiSDR Solo ($250 a month, billed monthly, cancel anytime). Want more volume for about the same money: Artisan's Intern plan (~500 leads a month from $250). Lowest listed price per contact: Salesforge's Agent Frank (about $0.25 per contact, vendor-stated). Want AI help while reps still send: Amplemarket's Duo copilot. 11x is demo-only. Prices as of September 2026.

How do the top AI SDR tools compare?
Six tools, one table. Every fact comes from the vendor's own pricing or product page as of September 2026. Vendor claims are labeled.
| Tool | Entry price (as of Sept 2026) | Volume on that plan | Commitment | Human control | Channels (vendor-listed) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AiSDR | Solo $250/mo. Explore $900/mo ($8,640/yr). Scale $2,500/mo ($24,000/yr) | Solo: 200 AI-researched contacts/mo, 1 user, 1 domain, 3 mailboxes, 1 LinkedIn account | Solo: billed monthly, cancel anytime. Explore and Scale: quarterly contracts; annual plans 20% off quarterly | Replies in 5–10 min or co-pilot mode | Email, LinkedIn; AI call steps with the Aircall dialer | A cheap, cancel-anytime first test |
| Artisan (Ava) | Startup plans: Intern $280/mo billed monthly, $250/mo billed annually. Employee $660 / $600. Free plan (300 credits/mo) for lead lookups only. Larger Team and Scale plans: quote | Intern: 10,000 credits/mo, ~500 leads contacted/mo. Employee: 25,000 credits, ~1,250 leads | Monthly or annual (annual = credits up front) | "Approve before sending," or autonomous | Email and social; human power dialer add-on ($75 a seat monthly, $67 annual) | More volume than AiSDR Solo for about the same price |
| Reply.io (Jason AI) | AI SDR Starter $800/mo billed monthly or $500/mo billed annually (1,000 active contacts). Growth $2,500 / $1,500 (5,000 contacts) | Starter: 1,000 active contacts, 2 LinkedIn accounts, unlimited users, unlimited mailboxes and warm-ups | Monthly or annual; demo first ("Hire Jason AI") | Autopilot and copilot modes | Email, LinkedIn, multichannel automation | Teams that want unlimited users on one AI plan |
| Salesforge (Agent Frank) | $599/mo billed quarterly or $499/mo billed annually | "2,000+ contacts/mo = $0.25 per contact" (vendor-stated). Email infrastructure add-on $499/mo quarterly or $417/mo annually (up to 1,000 active contacts) | Quarterly or annual; demo required | Auto-pilot and co-pilot modes | Email; 20+ languages (vendor-stated) | Lowest listed price per contact |
| Amplemarket (Duo copilot) | Startup $600/mo, annual term, 2 users. Growth and Elite: custom | Startup: 27,000 contacts; 13,500 email and 600 phone credits per user per year | Annual term; free trial on all plans | Copilot: AI finds signals, researches and drafts; reps stay in control of every send | Multichannel sequences and an outbound dialer on Startup; Duo Voice from Growth | Teams that want AI help but keep reps sending |
| 11x (Alice) | Quote only (demo) | Not published | Not published | Not published | Email, phone, chat, social, SMS, WhatsApp (vendor-listed) | Larger teams ready for a sales-led buy |
Read the "volume" column carefully. AiSDR counts "AI-researched contacts," Artisan counts credits (and estimates "leads contacted"), Reply.io counts "active contacts," and Salesforge counts "contacts" a month. Those aren't the same unit, so ask each vendor how a contact is counted before you compare.
What does each AI SDR actually cost per contact?
Our math on list prices, as of September 2026. Not a benchmark, and not a like-for-like comparison (see the unit warning above).
| Plan | Monthly price | Contacts a month | Price per contact (our math) |
|---|---|---|---|
| AiSDR Solo (monthly) | $250 | 200 | $1.25 |
| AiSDR Explore (quarterly contract) | $900 | 800 | ~$1.13 |
| AiSDR Scale (quarterly contract) | $2,500 | 2,500 | $1.00 |
| Artisan Intern (monthly / annual) | $280 / $250 | ~500 leads contacted (vendor estimate) | ~$0.56 / ~$0.50 |
| Reply.io AI SDR Starter (monthly / annual) | $800 / $500 | 1,000 active | $0.80 / $0.50 |
| Salesforge Agent Frank (quarterly / annual) | $599 / $499 | 2,000+ | ~$0.30 / ~$0.25 (Salesforge's own figure is $0.25), plus the email infrastructure add-on if you need it |
Price per contact is only step one. The number that matters is cost per meeting held.
When should you skip each AI SDR?
One skip line per tool, from the tables above.
- AiSDR: skip Solo if you need volume. It caps at 200 AI-researched contacts a month, and Explore and Scale move to quarterly contracts.
- Artisan: skip it if you need a hard contact cap. It sells credits and only estimates about 500 leads contacted a month on Intern, and its human power dialer is extra ($75 a seat a month, or $67 annual).
- Reply.io (Jason AI): skip it for a cheap test. Starter is $800 a month billed monthly ($500 annual) and starts with a demo.
- Salesforge (Agent Frank): skip it if you want to leave after a month. There's no monthly option, a demo comes first, and sending infrastructure is a $499 quarterly or $417 annual add-on if you don't bring your own.
- Amplemarket: skip it if you want the AI to send without your reps. Duo is a copilot, and the Startup plan is $600 a month on an annual term for 2 users.
- 11x: skip it if you need a price before a sales call. It's demo-only and publishes no volume or commitment terms.
How do you know if an AI SDR is paying for itself?
Grade it on cost per meeting held, then compare with what a meeting costs you today.
Illustrative break-even, AiSDR Explore. The reply-to-meeting rate is our assumption, not a benchmark.
- 800 contacts a month × 5 touches each (our house sequence) = 4,000 emails sent.
- Instantly counts every reply, follow-ups included, divided by total emails sent, so the rate is per email, not per prospect. At the average reply rate on Instantly's platform of 3.43% (Cold Email Benchmark Report 2026): 4,000 × 3.43% ≈ 137 replies.
- Assume 1 in 4 replies becomes a meeting ≈ 34 meetings.
- $900 ÷ 34 ≈ $26 per meeting, before the time your team spends on replies and calls.
That's a ceiling more than a forecast: it assumes an AI SDR sends the full five-touch sequence to all 800 contacts and matches the average.
Now the reality check. That average reply rate was 5.1% in 2024 (Woodpecker) and 3.43% in 2026 (Instantly), and in a 2025 Gartner survey, 73% of B2B buyers said they avoid suppliers who send irrelevant outreach. An AI SDR fed a vague list lands below average, not above. Tighten the targeting first: how to build an ideal customer profile.

Which AI SDR is best for a first test?
AiSDR Solo. It's billed monthly with "cancel anytime" on the card: $250 a month for 200 AI-researched contacts, 3 mailboxes and 1 LinkedIn account, with email setup and warmup included (as of September 2026). AiSDR says you can sign up without a credit card and build and test your campaign before paying (the paywall comes up at launch), that it can pick from 300M+ leads globally, and that it also processes your existing lead lists (all vendor-stated).
200 contacts a month is small. That's the point. Run one tight segment for a month, count meetings, then decide.
Want more volume for the money? Artisan's Intern plan is $280 a month billed monthly ($250 billed annually) for 10,000 credits, which Artisan estimates at ~500 leads contacted a month, with autonomous campaigns, replies and a HubSpot sync. You can have a human approve messages before they send. Its human power dialer for your reps is extra ($75 a seat a month, or $67 annual).
Which AI SDR is cheapest per contact?
Salesforge's Agent Frank, on its listed math: $499 a month billed annually, or $599 billed quarterly, for 2,000+ contacts a month, which Salesforge puts at $0.25 per contact (as of September 2026; on quarterly billing our math gives about $0.30). It runs in auto-pilot or co-pilot mode and includes a contact search engine Salesforge sizes at 500M+ contacts (vendor-stated).
The catches: no monthly option, a demo before you can buy, and an email infrastructure add-on ($417 a month billed annually or $499 quarterly, up to 1,000 active contacts) if you don't bring your own sending setup.
Reply.io's Jason AI is the alternative if your team is bigger: the AI SDR plans list unlimited users, unlimited mailboxes and warm-ups, and autopilot or copilot modes. Starter is $500 a month billed annually or $800 month to month for 1,000 active contacts and 2 LinkedIn accounts.
Which one keeps your reps in control?
Amplemarket. Its Duo copilot finds buying signals, researches the context and drafts multichannel sequences, and Amplemarket says it "never sends or changes things without visibility" (vendor-stated). The Startup plan is $600 a month on an annual term for 2 users, with 27,000 contacts, 13,500 email credits and 600 phone credits per user per year, multichannel sequences, an outbound dialer and email warmup (as of September 2026).
This is the setup our AI SDR explainer recommends for most teams: automate research, drafts and follow-ups, and keep humans on account selection, first lines and every live conversation.
Every autonomous tool here with a published plan also offers a copilot or approval mode (AiSDR, Artisan, Reply.io, Salesforge). Start there. Loosen it only after the output earns it.
What about 11x and the bigger Artisan plans?
Both are sales-led, as of September 2026. 11x runs multichannel sequences across email, phone, chat, social networks, SMS and WhatsApp (vendor-listed) and books you into a demo for pricing. Artisan's Team (~2,500 leads contacted a month) and Scale (~6,000) plans are "scoped on your plan": you talk to sales.
If you're under 10 reps and testing for the first time, start with a published-price tool. Take the demo once you know what a meeting from an AI SDR costs you.
What should you check before you sign?
Ask for these five things in writing:
- Contact definition: what counts as one contact, and does a re-contact count twice?
- Sending setup: whose domains and mailboxes send, and is warmup included? Never point automated volume at your main company domain.
- Approval mode: can a human approve first touches and every positive reply?
- Exit terms: monthly, quarterly or annual? What happens to unused contacts or credits?
- Compliance: how does it handle opt-outs? Google and Yahoo require bulk senders to stay under a 0.3% spam complaint rate (Google's target is under 0.1%). Details: what spam complaint rate is too high.
